Charcter Deletion and Lingering Descriptions

Hey everyone,

In order to make the Character List feature more useful, I have gone in and purged all characters who have not logged in since moving to the current server, 6 years ago. If people have not logged in within the past 6 years, they obviously have no desire to return.

This amounted to around 1500 characters.

I have also gone through and deleted all of the accounts that did not have any descriptions set for them, if they have been created more than 3 months ago. Most of these were misspelled logins or one-shot characters. Though some may have been characters of people who left the community and deleted their descriptions, but did not want anyone else using their name.

Sorry, but this is an RP chat room. If you're not going to use it, you're out of luck on such things. They can always re-register them again (assuming someone else does not grab the name first).

NOTE: Because the description files were not deleted, you may enter a name and password, and discover there is already a description. You can verify that this account was free to take by doing the following two things:

1) Check the colors on the description. If the Character Name and Character Text are both White, chances are it was a deleted profile, because White is the default when there is no login file entry.
2) Open up the Chat Room Character List and scroll to the very bottom after it finishes loading. If the character name appears at the end, then you just created it. The list is presented in the order that characters are registered. If it is at the bottom, that means you just created it.

Any problems or questions, please let me know.
